Every year many new singers come from reality shows or individual way in music arena in the country. However, there is complaining that the newcomer singers did not come without receiving proper training on music. Kazi Shoma is exceptional in this regard. She has been regularly performing in stage shows since 2007. She has been engaged with classical music from her childhood. She has been receiving training in classical music from Ustad Sanjeeb Dey from 2005. By this way she has established herself as a full-fledged classical singer.
After receiving 12 years experiences in classical music, Shoma has decided to release her solo album this time. She has already selected three songs for the album. Ahmed Rizvi wrote lyrics of these songs. Recording of one song has already been done. Rest two will be finished soon. Nazir Ahmed and Mahmud Jewel composed these songs. Therefore, Shawkat Ali Emon will also work for composition of another song. Overall Kazi Shoma has taking her necessary preparation to release her debut solo album. She has been performing in stage shows elsewhere in the country.
While talking about her music career Kazi Shoma told this correspondent, “I not only get pleasure to listen music but also to render the songs. I always feel comfortable to introduce myself as a singer to all.”
Today is Shoma’s birthday. Shoma informed that she wants to pass the day by own way. She seeks pray to all for her success. Kazi Shoma’s most favourite singer is Runa Laila. Therefore, she likes to render songs of Shahnaz Rahmatullah, Sabina Yasmin, Samina Chowdhury, Dolly Shayontini, Alam Ara Minu and Ankhi Alamgir on the stage.
Hailed from Banchharampur of Brahmanbaria Farhan Reza Swapno is the lone child of Shoma. He is her all the world. She is daughter of late Kazi Ataur Rahman and Hasna Begum. Last year Shoma performed in stage shows in Italy and Switzerland. Coming March she is going to London for performing there, she added.
