East West University drubbed Uttara University by 7-2 goals in the opening match of the Walton Smart TV Just Goal Football Tournament at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansoor Ali National Handball Stadium on Monday.
In the day’s second match, Bangladesh University blanked Bangladesh Sports Journalists Community by 3-0 goals at the same venue.
In the day’s third match, IUBAT defeated United International University by 2-0 goals at the same venue.
Earlier, Senior Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Abdus Salam Murshedy inaugurated the six-a-side football meet as the chief guest while Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Don, Adviser Editor of Weekly Robbar Kazi Siraj, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag were present as special guests.
Chairman of the Organizing Committee Kamal Hossain Bablu, Member Secretary of the Organizing Committee Shafiqul Islam Shamim and General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor were also present at the time.
