The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Assurances on Wednesday reviewed progress in the implementation of 15 different projects under the Ministry of Housing and Public Works.
The committee informed that out of 15 projects, six projects have already been completed while eight are running and one has been postponed, said a Jatiya Sangsad secretariat press release.
The committee made the discussion at its 23th meeting at the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Bhaban with its Chairman Kazi Keramat Ali in the chair.
Committee members M Shahiduzzaman Sarkar, M Abdul Kuddus, A K M Shahjahan Kamal and Mir Mostak Ahmed Rabi attended the meeting.
The Committee recommended completing the beautification of Gulshan Lake work within the stipulated time and stopping lower land filling for avoidance of water logging.
Housing and Public Works Secretary and senior officials concerned were present at the meeting.
