General Secretary of Jatiya Party Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu demanded removal of the Miniter for Telecommunications & Information Technology Abdul Latif Siddiqui from the cabinet immediately for his controversial comments on Holy Hajj .
He was addressing the workers’ meeting arranged at a city hotel at Lalkhan Bazar yesterday afternoon as chief guest. Ziauddin Bablu said the unethical comments of a Minister of Mohajote annoyed the religious devout Muslims and he violated the clauses of the constitution by his comments and his membership in the sangsad should be abrogated immediately.
He also said Latif Siddiqui has no right to attack any religions . president of city JP Mahjaben Morshed presided over it while the central vice president Morshed Murab Ibrahim was also present among others.
Mentionable that Latif Siddiqui delivered controversial comments on hajj and tablig jamat at a hotel in New York on Sunday while exchanging views with the Bangladeshis there. Minister Latif Siddiqui went to New York alongwith the Prime Minister’s entourage to UNGA recently.
