Journalists can play a pivotal role in respect creating mass awareness for preserving continuation of development of the country”, said National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) Chairman Kazi Reazul Haque at a view-exchange meeting held at Humayun Kabir Balu’ Auditorium at Khulna Press Club on Thursday night. The meeting was arranged by Khulna Press Club.
Human Rights Commission (HRC) Chairman Kazi Reazul Haque addressed the meeting as Chief Guest .
Faruk Ahmed, President of Khulna Press Club presided over the meeting.
HRC Chairman further said, the National Parliamentary Election of 2018 is very significance for us as this election is a challenge for preserving the awareness of non communal Bangladesh which we achieved through Liberation war.
HRC Chairman also said , we should be united to preserve our ongoing development.
Mentionable here that once HRC Chairman Kazi Reazul Haque was deputy commissioner (DC) of Khulna and as such he remembered his former remembrance of his service in Khulna.
In his speech, HRC Chairman said, commemoration of Khulna not only stir me but also inspires in the field of my working place.
While I was DC of Khulna, journalists of this area cooperated me and encouragement, HRC Chairman added.
Mollick Shudhangshu moderated the function.
Director of National Human Rights Commission Kazi Arfan Ashik, Deputy Director M Robiul Islam, former Presidents of Khulna Press Club Mokbul Hossain Mintu, AK Hiru and Sheikh Abu Hasan, former general Secretary SM Zahid Hossain, Press Club members- Munshi Mahbubul Alam Sohag, Golam Mostafa Sindayeeny, Atiar Rahman, Muhammad Abu Tayeb, Md. Abdul Halim, Md. Rashidul Islam, SM Farid Rana and Mahbubur Rahman Munna, among others addressed in the view-exchanging meeting.
