Timir Lal Dutta, a journalist and freedom fighter, died of a cardiac arrest in the city’s BIRDEM Hospital on Sunday. He was 62.
He left behind wife, one son, one daughter and host of relatives, colleagues and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Dutta was senior reporter of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS). He retired from the BSS two months back. Earlier, he worked with different dailies, including the Daily Samokal and Daily Khabor.
