Alhaj Moulovi Sayem Uddin, a retired Govt. Primary School teacher and father of Prof. Molla Masudul Haq. Bagerhat District Correspondent of The Daily Inqilab and TV channel Bangla Vision breathed his last in his village home at Utkul under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday morning due to old aged complications. He was 95.

Bagerhat District Correspondent of The Daily Inqilab and TV channel Bangla Vision breathed his last in his village home at Utkul under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district on Tuesday morning due to old aged complications. He was 95.
He left behind wife, 6 sons, 2 daughters and a host of grand children, relatives, friends and admirers to mourn his death.
Late Sayem Uddin started his teaching carrier as an assistant teacher of Govt. Victoria Infant School in Khulna City Corporation and retired from Singati Govt. Primary School an assistant teacher in 1980. He was pious, honest, generous, well behaved and amiable in nature all in through his life.
Thousand of people including Alhaj Adv. Mir Shawkat Ali Badsha, MP of Bagerhat Constituency-2, journalists and teachers of both schools and colleges attended his Namaj-e-Janaja. He was buried in his family graveyard on the same day.
