Jagannath University (JnU) has become champion in the first Bangabandhu Inter-University sports Chapms-2019 wining high gold medals in the competition.
The championship organised with the theme “Let’s build a Bangladesh in cognition of Bangabandhu” in participation with all public and private universities across the country which was began on March 18 in the city and continued end of the month at the universities across the country.
The event began with a grand opening ceremony at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, almost 2,700 students from 65 universities were participated in the inaugural ceremony for consisting of 10 major events (Football, Cricket, Swimming, Athletics, Table Tennis, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Cycling and Badminton).
Total 8 students of JnU participated in Badminton and Table Tennis events.
The highest Gold medal winning Jagannath university awarded the “Bangabandhu Inter-University Sports Champs 2019 -Champions”.
