On the occasion of 13th anniversary of Jagannath University (JnU), its Bangla Department arranged ‘Annual cultural program and prize giving ceremony’at Central Auditorium of the University on Tuesday. The ceremony started with reciting the scriptures. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mijanur Rahman was present as chief guest.
Chairman of Bangla Dept Prof Dr Arjumand Ara Banu presided over the program. Cultural events such as songs, dance, recitation and drama “Charjapad” and “Rakta Karabi” were performed by the students of Bangla Dept.
