Non government organisation Jagorani Chhakra Foundation planted a total of 21, 03,382 fruit producing trees in 34 districts across the country in memory of the martyred during the war of liberation in 1971.
The trees include mango, litchi, coconut and other, were planted in the months of August and September, 2018.
The information was revealed at a press conference arranged by JFC at Jashore Press Club on Wednesday.
Azadul Kabir Arzoo, executive director, JFC, Adity Arzoo, deputy executive director, Kazi Mazed Nawaz, director, programme, Azizul Haque, director, micro finance and Hasib Nawaz, public relations officer were present at the press conference.
