IU VC office locked by ex BCL activists

A group of ex- activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League locked Islamic University (IU) Vice -Chancellor’s office and administrative building demanding their recruitment in the University on Monday.
Witnesses said, at around 1 pm on Monday , a group of ex-activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League IU chapter including Ashikur Rahman Japan, Mohammad Ali Shimul , Mahmudul Islam Lenin, Kashem along with 15/20 others locked the Vice Chancellor’s office and administrative building.
 They were demanding their recruitment in the University.
Later, at around 1:30 pm , the situation was brought under control by acting proctor of Islamic University MD Assaduzzamn and Assistant proctor Altaf Hossain.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Abdul Hakim was not available over phone.
