Indian Visa processing Centre relocate in Barishal

Rajesh Kumar Raina, Assistant High Commissioner of India at Khulna, Bangladesh, said direct bus service between Barishal-Kolkata-Barishal routes would be started soon.
He was addressing at the programme of relocating Indian Visa Application Center (IVAC) of Barishal at Kashipur area shifted from Hospital Road area of the city on Monday .
The relations of both countries are very close with a lot similarity between history, culture and traditions.
So people to people contact between India and Bangladesh would be increased if communication would be more easier and cost effective, the Indian diplomat told.
Barishal City Corporation (BCC) Mayor Serniabad Sadik Abdullah inaugurated the relocated IVAC center along with Shahabuddin Khan, commissioner of Barishal Metropolitan police.
IVAC, Barishal started functioning at Hospital Road area of the city on September 13, 2015.
Due to space crisis this center has been relocated to the new premise, the IVAC officials said.
The IVAC has 16 branches in different district of Bangladesh and set up with more space including extended services.
