Outgoing Indian High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das assured that India will remain beside Bangladesh during any natural disaster.
The Indian envoy made the remark on Wednesday when she called on Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Mojumdar at secretariat , an official handout said.
During the meeting, they discussed about various matters related to mutual interest and bilateral issues, including the current situation of both the countries regarding outbreak of the pandemic and flood.
The High Commissioner expressed her profound respect to the memories of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the most of his family members who were brutally assassinated on August 15 in 1975.
Food Secretary Mosammath Nazmanara Khanum was also present.
