The Index Group Under-10 Rugby Competition started at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium on Saturday.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Index Group Saifullah Al Munir inaugurated the rugby competition by releasing the balloons as the chief guest.
President of Bangladesh Rugby Union (BRU) Abdullah Al Jahir Shapan, General Secretary of BRU Mousum Ali, Joint-Secretary of BRU Sayeed Ahmed, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Din Islam were present at the time.
In the day’s matches, Ali Ahmmad School blanked Rayer Bazar High School by 35-0 points, Ahmadbagh Adarsha High School overwhelmed Kamalapur Sher-e-Bangla Railway School by 20-0 points, Saint Gregory’s High School overpowered Isha Kindergarten by 35-0 points, Shahid Nabi High School defeated Sun Shine Pre-Cadet High School by 15-0 points and Ali Ahmmad School overpowered Segun Bagicha High School by 35-0 points at the same venue.
