Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh, MP as chief guest inaugurated a ‘Moot Court Room’ for the students of Law Department of American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) on Monday. The ‘Moot Court Room’ where law students argue imaginary cases for practice and that was a long cherished desire of the faculties and students of Department of Law of AIUB. Nahim Razzak, MP was the special guest at the event.
AIUB Vice Chancellor Dr Carmen Z Lamagna, Chairman of Board of Trustee Nadia Anwar, Founder Member Dr Hasanul A Hasan and Founder Member Ishtiaque Abedin of AIUB. Advisor of the Department of Law has received the Chief Guest, the Special Guest and other guests for the ceremony. Deans, Associate Deans, Respected Faculties, Officials, Staffs and Students of Department of Law were also present on the occasion in the ‘Moot Court Room’.
Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh opined that this moot court room would be very much beneficial to the students for becoming successful lawyers. He further expressed his desire that he would love to see the students as lawyer in the court, in future.
