Bangladesh Police’s IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, who emerged champion in the Int’l Rating Chess tournament, received a cash prize of Taka fifty thousand. IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman secured eight points out of nine games to clinch the title of the tournament that concluded on Wednesday last night. In this regard, the Bangladesh Chess Federation (BCF) organised a prize distribution ceremony held on Thursday at the BCF hall-room of the National Sports Council. BCF vice president and tournament committee’s chairman, KM Shahidullah presided over the prize distribution ceremony.
