Mobile phone operator Robi has initiated an Iftar donation campaign to stand beside the underprivileged people in the holy month of Ramzan.
The campaign will be carried out in association with Bidyanando Foundation and different orphanages in the country where customers of Robi and Airtel can contribute through recharging a certain amount, said a Robi press release.
To take part in this initiative, four specific recharge bundles of Robi and Airtel have to be procured.
For every purchase of bundle amounting Taka 307 and Taka 349 by Robi subscribers, the operator will donate Taka 25 to the Bidyanondo Foundation under the initiative on behalf of the customers.
Similarly, for every purchase of bundle Taka 298 and Taka 348 by Airtel subscribers, the company will donate Taka 25 to Bidyanando.
The bundle of Taka 307 recharge offers 500 minutes and 500 MB data while Taka 349 recharge offers 8 GB data to Robi customers.
Besides, the Taka 298 recharge offers 475 minutes and 2 GB data while the Taka 348 recharge bundle offers 8GB data and 300 minutes talk time to Airtel users.
The campaign started from the first day of Ramadan and all the offers will be valid for 30 days.
Robi’s Managing Director and CEO, Mahtab Uddin Ahmed hoped their customers will take part in this noble initiative in the holy month of Ramzan.
“We are confident that our customers will avail of the offer to stand by the underprivileged people of the country in the most glorified month in Islamic calendar,” he added.
