Pakistan pace-bowling coach Shaun Tait expressed his satisfaction with the team and lauded Shaheen Afridi for his phenomenal performance in the ongoing Test series.
“As a bowling group, we picked up five wickets and kept the economy rate in control in good batting conditions, which is pretty good,” Tait said before the start of Day Two.
The former Australian pacer also revealed that he is learning a lot from fast bowler Shaheen.
“Shaheen is a great bowler and asks a lot of questions. so far, I have enjoyed my time with him, and I actually learned a lot from him,” Tait added.
Tait heaped praises on young pacer Naseem Shah for his crucial wickets on the opening day.
“He is very mature and skillful for his age. He showed that yesterday by getting both conventional and reverse swing. He got some crucial wickets at the end of the day, and hopefully, he gets more wickets in the morning session today.” Tait stated.
