Recovering from a prolonged injury, flamboyant all-rounder Nasir Hossain has come back to training. Once regarded as the ‘finisher’ is now building himself to make return to competitive cricket after eight months.
After ending eight long months of rehabilitation process which also included multiple surgeries in Australia, Nasir is now looking forward to a prosperous future.
“If you talk about the injury, 2018 was really very hard for him. Frankly speaking, at one point I was feeling really vert helpless. I had no one beside me that time. But it’s natural that when things are looking grim, you will not get anyone’s support,” said Nasir.
Nasir may dream of play the 2019 World Cup in England, but that will be anything but easy, as the path to comeback to the national team has recently become more competitive than ever. However, he is taking it on a positive note.
“Fortune never favoured me. In cricket, hard work is not enough. You need some good luck as well. But I firmly believe, the door of the national team is still open for everyone. The more the competition, the better it is for the Bangladesh side.”
Though Nasir was out of the team, he was a regular attraction to the social media users, mostly because of his personal life controversy. Nasir claimed he took lesson from this chapter of his life.
