A housewife named Jahanara Begum(22) commits suicide by hanging centering the failure to pay the house rent to the house owner . The incident was occurred at Shikarpur Safi colony in Hathazari upazila yesterday morning. The victim is the wife of auto rickshaw driver Shamsuddin and they resides in a rental quarter in the colony .
Jahanara hails from Char Jabbar area of Noakhali district and husband Shamsul hails from Hatia of Noakhali. Hathazari thana police sub-inspector Md. Iktar Miah told that this newly married couple came over Chittagong last year and residing in a rental house. Centring the payment of house rent to land owner , severe altercation happened between them on Thursday night.
Jahanara commits suicide while her husband goes out for his profession and in the meantime, Jahanara commits suicide by handing inside the room.
