UNB, Dhaka :
The government has split the Home Ministry into two divisions-the Public Safety Division and the Security Services Division-in a bid to bring dynamism in the ministry’s activities.
The Cabinet Division issued a notification in this regard on Thursday.
Police, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Ansar, Coast Guard, investigation organisations, International Crimes
Tribunal, National Telecommunication Monitoring Cell will be part of the Public Safety Division, while Passport, Jail Department, Narcotics Control Department and Fire Service will be the part of the Security Services Division.
