Gulshan attack: Hearing on charge framing Nov 26

The Anti-Terrorist Special Tribunal yesterday fixed November 26 for hearing on charge framing in the case filed in connection with militant attack on the Holey Artisan Bakery of Gulshan area in the city.
 Judge Md Mojibur Rahman of the special
tribunal fixed the date on Wednesday. On the day, ad about fugitive Md Mamunur Rashid and Md Shariful Islam were produced in the court while the judge fixed the date for charge hearing.
On August 8, the court took cognizance of the charge-sheet. In the charge-sheet, North South University’s former teacher Hasnat Karim was acquitted as the no charge was proved against him.
Earlier, after receiving the reports on execution of the arrest warrant, Judge Mojibur Rahman of the tribunal passed the order directing the Officers-in-Charge to submit reports on execution of attachment of moveable properties by September 30.
 On August 8, the tribunal accepted charge sheet against eight militants and issued arrest warrants against accused Khaled and Ripon.
On July 1, 2016, the incident happened in Gulshan diplomatic area, when 28 persons including two police officials were killed 18 foreigners, two local people and six militants.
