Hason Raja’s descendant Supti Matin’s new song

In Bangladeshi music, there is a lot of significance of Marami songs. These songs will alive many years in the hearts of music-lovers. Marami singer and poet Hason Raja is the composer of these songs. Singer Supti Matin is her descendant.
Daughter of Hason Raja’s granddaughter Meherunnesa Chowdhury’s daughter is Supti Matin.
During childhood Supti Matin had fascination about music. She received training in music from late Azad Rahman, Hafizur Rahman, Fazlul Haque, Nitai Roy, among others in different times. Her father Sabbir Ahmed Chowdhury, who is 94 years also and also a Marami poet and language veteran, is a noted lyricist of the country.
According to Supti, father is her inspiration in music. To see her father, Supti established herself as a singer. She released her father written song titled Drishti Firena on her own page under Hridoy Khan’s music composition. Today is her birthday.
 While talking in this regard Supti Matin said, “In fact, there is a lot fascination about my father-written song. I have tried to render the song my level best. I am getting positive response for the song. Everybody is appreciating for the song. I am really grateful to my fans. I want to present them more songs in future. Today I will pass the day with my four grandsons and granddaughters. Everybody pray for me as I remain well.”
Supti also informed that late Azad Rahman, Sheikh Sadi Khan, late Abdul Jabbar, Farida Parveen, late Subir Nandi, Shakila Sharma, among others, rendered my father composed songs. A full-fledged album comprising Supti’s father’s songs titled Nouka Modhukor in markets now. Mohidul Hasan Mon composed music of the songs of the album, Supti added.
