General students and Chatra league unit of Chittagong Polytechnic Institute led by college BCL unit General secretary Roman Das brought out protest procession in city roads yesterday morning to press home their demand of half fare in public transports in city and less price of educational apparatus .
The procession paraded the city road upto technical crossing and back at college campus. A rally following the termination of procession held at college campus moderated by BCL leader Dwip Dey .
 Among others, GS Roman Das, central committee GS Arif Hasan, Asstt Secretary Yasin Arafat Bappi, students Kamrul, Emdad, Rasel, JoniMallik, Abid, Nishan, Rafiq and Samir paul spoke on the occasion.
The speakers in the rally said despite standing order of the concerned minister, the drivers and the helpers mishave with the students if they ask for half fare . The speakers said the transports of other cities of the countries are taking half fare from the students but the order of the minister is not implemented in the port city.
 The students also demanded decrease of prices of educational instruments, books and materials for sustaining the education in every cornor of the country.
