Hajj pilgrims training, seminar held

Hajj pilgrims training and seminar on forthcoming hall pilgrimage was held at Chittagong Zila Parishad Auditorium on Monday .
Chittagong Hajj Prilgrims Kaylan Parishad arranged the training and seminar . President of the Parishad Ahmadul Islam Chowdhury presided over it. Secretary General of Kaylan Parishad Principal Dr. Abdul Karim delivered the address of welcome in it. Dr. Alhaj Saleh Ahmed was the moderator of the seminar.
Member of the Parliamentary standing committee on Religious Affairs Ministry and Governor of Islamic Foundation Prof. Dr. Abu Reza Md. Nezamuddin Nadvi MP was the principal speaker in the seminar. Former district and session judge Md. Ismail Miah conducted training to the intending Hajj pilgrims through multimedia projections. Divisional Director of the Islamic Foundation , Chittasgong Md. Abdul Hai Bhuyia was the coordinator of the training course .
 Among others Abu Saleh Md. Salimullah, Saleh Ahmed Suleman spoke on the occasion.
The principal speaker said he will continue his efforts to recommissioning the Pahartali Haji camp after proper renovation with installing divisional Hajj office there and direct Chittagong-Jeddah hajj flights as per requirement.
 He also mentioned that in British or Pak regime, Mumbai in India and Chittagong in East zone of the subcontinent were the main throughfare of Hajj travel but Chittagong is now neglected which will be revived for fulfledged hajj traveling activities.
 The speakers in the seminar said Chittagong is being neglected in case of sending hajj pilgrims through air from Chittagong and the hajj pilgrims is to suffer miseries if they travel to Saudi Arabia from Dhaka. The seminar demanded immediate renovation of the existing Hajj camp of Pahartali and establishment of divisional hajj office in Chittagong . Among others,Dr. Md. Ismail Miah, AKM Saifuddin, Kazi Shahdat Hossaom.Nurul Islam, Md. Faizullah, Ahmed Hossain Chowdhury etc were present in the seminar alongwith the intending Hajj pilgrims, a release said.
