Great Wall Education Consultancy, a small to medium size company consisting of four members is aiming only to provide the best service and right information to students. “We only stand for student’s welfare.” Adopting this motto, they are trying to help out those students who have been nurturing the dream to study abroad since childhood. But could not find any right track.
Four of them have started their journey in 2014. Over the years Great Wall has continued to flourish and built up a loyal staff and workforce. It has grown as a most reliable authentic company due to their transparent activities. “No more wasting of money on agencies and direct admission from China” is their tag line which makes it more trustworthy source. They send around 400 students from overseas to China.
This company has been quickly putting its remarks in this competitive business world because its level of transparency and 100 percent success rate in admitting students into the University.
However, it had all started when Sami Nasim, a former student of Nanjing University of Posts and Technology, one of the entrepreneurs of the company, had to go through multiples obstacles while applying for the higher education from Bangladesh. Even he had to face a terrible incident at airport because he didn’t know mandarin and it took him 4 hours to reach his university. (From this incident Great Wall provides airport pickup service for newly admitted students so that students can reach university from airport without hassle.) Eventually, the whale idea of starting a company like this came across. As he was international students’ council’s president, he went to the foreign administration office of his university and made them understand that there are a lot of promising students in Bangladesh who want to study abroad. After several meetings Sami Nasim and with the help of some of his local friends are able to manage the authorization of “Cooperative agency in international students” of NUPT that’s how the journey started.
Gradually, three more friends joined him and shaped the plan into reality. Until 2016 they provided their service through online, in 2017 they opened their Dhaka branch at Malibag, Dhaka. That’s how they were successfully able to materialize their plan.
Now they have three more branches in Rajshahi, Khulna and Maymensingh.
This company sticks to their motto which ensures students welfare as their overall cost of per student is lesser than other companies because they have legal and direct authorization from universities. What is more, this company not only gave the student access to the university but also ensures their overall journey that starts from airport’s formality to accommodation issues. Also they take care of students overall wellbeing.
They are running their business honestly, yet strategically with limited resources. Insisted of being new in this business world, the percentage of their success story is higher than their failures. These four ambitious but pragmatic people are trying to chase their dream as they are new. So their success story is to be continued.
