UNB, Chittagong :
An 18-month-old girl, who received severe burns when a gas cylinder exploded at a house in the city’s Bandar Tila, died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Saturday night.
The deceased is Oishee, daughter of Mohammad Raju, who also sustained severe burns in the incident that occurred around 6pm on Saturday. According to family members, Oishee and her father Raju were taken to the CMCH where the girl died around 11:30 pm while undergoing treatment.
Sub-inspector Jahirul Islam, CMCH police camp in-charge, confirmed the death to the UNB.
