A farmer named Abdul Hamid (65) was electrocuted in Mymensingh’s Gafargaon.
The incident took place at Bagbari village in Langair union of the upazila on Thursday morning.
According to the victim’s family and local sources, Abdul Hamid went to the farm in the morning and died on the spot after being electrocuted by the service line wires.
UP Chairman Abdullah Al Amin confirmed the matter.
