Former state minister Dr M Amanullah dies

Former State Minister for Health and Family Welfare professor Dr M Amanullah has died at a Dhaka hospital at the age of 88.
Amanullah, also the president of Mymensingh’s Bhaluka Upazila Awami League, breathed his last at Labaid Hospital at about 6:00pm on Thursday.
He left behind his wife, a son, and a daughter, and numerous well wishers to mourn his death.
His first namaz-e-janaza will be held at Bhaluka Government Degree College ground after the Jumma prayers on Friday, while the second at Sayera Shafayet School and College ground.
Later, he will be laid to rest at the family graveyard at his village.
Amanullah was elected as member of parliament from Mymensingh-11 constituency for four times.
He also performed his duties as state minister for Health and Family Welfare when Awami League formed government in 1996.
