Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen took medical treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, his office said that the Foreign Minister did not accompany Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on her India tour due to illness.
Professor Dr. Fazlur Rahman on Tuesday gave treatment to Dr. Momen at BSMMU hospital.
Several medical tests were done yesterday meanwhile the physicians will follow the investigation reports, an official of BSMMU told journalists.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud on Tuesday said that Foreign Minister did not go with the Prime Minister to India tour due to his illness.
Besides, according to Foreign Affairs Ministry sources, the Minister was feeling sick so that he didn’t go with the PM to India.
At the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Bangladesh counterpart Hasina is paying a state visit to New Delhi from September 5 to 8.
