FM Fahad finishes 4th in Mumbai Chess

FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Access Chess Club finished at the fourth position in the IIFL 2nd Mumbai Junior International Chess Tournament on Tuesday at Mumbai, India.
Five players including FM Fahad earned 7.5 points each after 9th or last round games.
Fahad became 4th in tie-breaking system. 9th or last round games were held on Tuesday.
In last round Fahad beat Aditya Guhagarkar of India.
V Pranav of India became champion with 8 points and Shelke Sankarsha of India became runner-up with 7.5 points.
FM Fahad received fifty thousand Indian rupees as prize money.
Champion Pranav received one lac fifty thousand rupees and runner-up Sankarsha received one lac ten thousand rupees as prize money.
The event was held in 9 round Swiss-League system and total 186 players from 5 countries participated.
Fahad earned 5 point out 8 games in another event 2nd IIFL Wealth 2nd Mumbai International Chess Tournament (Open) which is being held in same city.
In the 8th penultimate round games of the GM’s event were held on Monday, Fahad beat Audi Ameya of India.
