Five BNP leaders expelled

UNB, Dhaka :Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has expelled its five leaders, including national executive committee member Alamgir Mohammad Mahfuzullah Farid.The other four leaders are Barisal Uttar District BNP unit vice-president Lokman Hossain Khan, it leaders Nur Alam and Hannan Sharif, and Maheshkhali upazila BNP unit leader Habibullah.The BNP leaders have been expelled from the party for violating the party discipline and their engagement in activities that go against the party’s interest, said two separate press releases signed by BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Friday.Meanwhile, another release said BNP withdrew the expulsion order against Singair upazila BNP committee member Abidur Rahman Khan Abid.
