First flight of the Bangladesh Biman arrives Chattogram Airport yesterday afternoon with 265 Hajj passengers from Jeddah Airport. Airport sources said the Biman wide bodied jet flight landed at airport at 12.45 pm and after disembarkation of 265 Hajj pilgrims left for Dhaka Airport with the remaining pilgrims. Airport Manager Wing Commander Sarwar Jaman confirmed the arrival of first Hajj flight to this correspondent . Biman sources said 10 ,200 pilgrims went to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj this year through Chattogram Airport by Biman flight. A total of 1,26,923 pilgrims performed Hajj this year from Bangladesh. Out of total pilgrims 72 died in Saudi Arabia upto August 14 last during hajj, sources said.
