One passenger bus was gutted by fire in the port city yesterday morning. The incident of fire occurred at Tara gate of Baizid bostami area under Baizid thana in city yesterday morning.
The fire originated from the fire of garments wastes near the bus stationed . The fire damaged the properties of about Tk.5 lakh, fire brigade sources said.
Sensing the information of fire, 3 mobile units of fire services rushed to the spot and doused the inferno after one hour, sources said.
