A fire broke out at the Bon Bhaban, Headquarters of Dhaka Divisional Forest Office, in city’s Mohakhali area on Monday morning.
The fire originated around 10:45am and the blaze brought under control around 11:30am, said Atikur Rahman,
Operator of Headquarters of the Fire Service and Civil Defense.
“We suspect that the fire originated from a generator on the fifth floor of the building which later spread,” he said.
However, no causalities were reported in the incident as four fire fighting units rushed to the spot and doused the fire in an hour time.
