Popular film actress Popy has been staying in her hometown, Khulna, since the nationwide shutdown began. Many of her projects are on hold but she has no plan of returning to work any time soon, due to safety concerns.
Similarly, another popular actor Ferdous is spending time at home with his family. Few of his projects have been postponed, but he is not keen to resume shooting any time soon. He said, “I hope that social distancing protocols are fully followed, once I return to work.”
As coronavirus cases are still on the rise, actors Bidya Sinha Mim and Siam Ahmed mentioned that they will not resume shooting yet. Actor Nirob is also not comfortable about returning to the sets.
Popular hero Arifin Shuvoo is spending time at home, watching movies and focusing on his fitness. He hopes to return to work, once things get back on track.
On the other hand, actor Emon feels that shooting is possible if social distancing rules are properly maintained. He has been casting in the lead role in Ananta Jalil’s upcoming film. Shooting of the movie is scheduled to start soon.
Even though film shoots have resumed with certain conditions, it appears that many actors are not ready to return to the sets yet.
