More 35 coronavirus infected patients have died in the last 24 hours, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said on Saturday.
“Besides, 2635 people have detected as coronavirus infecting patients in the same period,” Professor Dr Nasima Sultana, Additional Director General (Administration) of DGHS, said during a press briefing in the capital.
Dr. Sultana said that the death toll now stands at 846 while the total number of infected has reached to 63,026.
The DGHS official said that total 12,486 samples were tested in 50 laboratories across the country in the last 24 hours.
Besides, she said, total 521 Covid-19 patients have recovered and released from different hospitals across the country since Friday.
With the new released persons, the total number of recoveries now reached to 13,325, Dr. Nasima Sultana said.
