Fake police have been arrested at Tarash in Sirajganj. Locals arrested a fake policeman named Rezaul Karim (35) from Ranirhat Bazar area of the upazila on Sunday, 24 October morning and handed him over to Tarash Police Station. The arrested swindler Rezaul Karim is the son of Tota Miah of Tola village in Sherpur upazila of Bogra district. According to the locals, the swindler, in the name of the police, stopped various CNG, Nachimon and motorcycles in the Ranihat area of the Tarash-Ranihat regional road and took them hostage in the name of checking the documents. When the behavior of the police was suspicious, the locals arrested him and handed him over to the police. At one point the arrested person confessed to the public that he was not a member of the police. Later, Tarash police arrested the fraudster Rezaul Karim and brought him to the police station. Tarash police officer in charge (OC) Fazle Ashiq said that a fake policeman named Rezaul Karim has been arrested. Preparations are underway to file a case at the police station for cheating in this regard.
