The grand finale of Danish presents Young Star, a musical reality show for young
people, was organised by RTV. In the first edition, Dhaka contestant Raisha Firose Epa won the crown of the winner leaving behind a few thousand contestants. Besides, she got Tk3 lakh as a reward. The first runner-up was Rawnak Jahan Raisa, who got Tk2 lakh and the second runner-up was Puja Shill, who got Tk1 lakh.
The shooting of the grand finale was completed on January 27 at RTV’s own
studio Bengal Multimedia in the capital’s Tejgaon area. Planning Minister MA Mannan, MP was present as the chief guest, while special guests were Brig Gen Md Sajjad Hossain, Director General of Bangladesh Fire Service, Md Jashim Uddin, President of FBCCI, Vice Chairman RTV, Sabera H Mahmud, Director of Partex Star Group, Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, General Manager Brand of Star Group, Humayun Kabir Bablu, Managing Director of RTV, and RTV Chief Executive Officer Syed Ashik Rahman. Young Star’s three main judges Ibrar Tipu, Pratic Hasan and Porshi along with Khurshid Alam, Shawkat Ali Emon, S I Tutul, Shanta Islam, Azizul Hakim and many others were also present on the occasion. Popular model, actor and presenter Imtu Ratish and dancer, anchor Rouhani Salsabil Labonno anchored this reality show produced by Sohag Masud. The episode of the grand finale was
aired on RTV on February 8.
