Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun on Thursday called to ensure production of vitamin-rich edible oil while maintaining the guidelines of social distance.
The minister came up with the direction while distributing health security equipment among the factory workers at the conference room of the Ministry.
The health security equipment financed by Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition were handed over to factory authorities
A total of 50 infrared thermometers, 25,000 protective gloves, 12,000 head masks, 125 liter hand sanitizers were provided to the factory workers.
State Minister Kamal Ahmed Majumder who was also present there said to continue the production in the factories, the workers should get proper care and security.
He also requested factory authorities to follow 31-point direction announced by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the factories.
