Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi was observed in Chattogram, to marking the birth and demise of the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) with due religious fervor and solemnity.
On the occasion, a 47th colourful rally ‘Jasne Julush’ will be brought out from the city’s Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha sharif at about 8 am. The rally was led by Sayed Hamed Shah son of Allama Taher Shah from Pakistan. Nearly sixty lakh Muslim devotees from all over the country are expected to take part in the Jasne Julush, to be organized by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust.
After parading through the main roads including Muradpur, Panchliash, Chawkbazar, Sirajdowllah Road, Andarkillah, Momin Road, Jaman Khan of the city and the rally was end at the Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Madrasa ground at about 1.30 pm.
A special prayer was held seeking divine blessings of Almighty Allah for peace, progress and prosperity of the country as well as welfare of the Muslim Ummah. Meanwhile, important road corners and road islands of the city were decorated with big size arches, colourful festoons and banners inscribed with Kalema Tayyeba and verses of the holy Quran and Hadith.
Moreover, the National Flag and ‘Kalima Teayiba’ written banner will be displayed in the important traffic zones of port city and the light posts. Chattogram Metropolitan police has taken tight security arrangements to ensure a peaceful celebration of the Eid-e-Miladunnabi.
