Human Safety Foundation (HSF), a volunteer organisation, has distributed Eid clothes and iftar among 250 disable children on the campus of Dhaka University (DU).
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique distributed the cloths among the children and joined the iftar as the chief guest at TSC cafeteria on Wednesday, said a DU press release on Thursday.
Addressing the function, Professor Arefin called upon all to come forward to help disable children.
Presided over by HSF Chairman MA Muqit, DU Social Welfare and Research Institute Professor Dr Sheikh Tawhidul Islam was present.
and other executive committee members as well as volunteers of the HSF were present at the function, among others, the release added.
