Sports Reporter :East End Boys Club emerged as the champions of the Walton Air Conditioner Dhaka Metropolis First Division Volleyball League when they beat East End Club by 3-1 sets in the final at the Dhaka Volleyball Stadium on Thursday.East End Club became the runners-up while Naba Jagoroni Sangha finished third.After the final match First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Sports Ambassador of Walton Jobera Rahman Linu was with him as the special guest.Joint-Secretary of Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) Advocate Fazle Rabbi Babul, Joint-Secretary of BVF Azizur Rahman, Treasurer of the Federation Md Sirajul Islam and Secretary of the Tournament Committee Kazi Abdul Hannan were present at the time.The champions were awarded Tk 10 thousand as prize-money while the runners-up were given Tk seven thousand. Besides, the third place achiever team and the fourth place earner team got Tk six thousand each. The participating teams were given Tk five thousand each.A total of eight teams took part in the volleyball meet.
