Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique expressed deep shock at the death of retired prof of the university’s Zoology Department Zerina Jaman.
In a condolence message, he said Prof Zerina was a devoted teacher.
“Dhaka University not only lost a brilliant teacher but also a personality with humanitarian outlook because of her death.
Her contribution to protect the animal resources and in the field of education and research of zoology will be ever remembered,” the VC added.
Arefin prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and
conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
