A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Dhaka (DU) and Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (MGIMO University) was signed on Wednesday to foster international cooperation in education and research.
Treasurer of DU Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin and Rector of MGIMO University Anatoly V Torkunov singed the MoU on behalf of their respective universities at DU campus.
Russian Ambassador in Bangladesh Alexander Ignatove and Attache of Russian Embassy in Dhaka Amatula Khanova were present on this occasion. According to the MoU, the two universities will exchange faculty members, researchers, students and administrative staff.
They will share experiences, publications and information. Besides, the two academic institutions will jointly organize symposia, conferences and conduct research activities.
