Psychology Department of Dhaka University (DU) accorded reception for newly enrolled students of first year (Hons) and farewell for final year students (M Sc) at the auditorium of Teacher Student Centre (TSC) on Monday. DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic) Professor Dr. Nasreen Ahmad attended the programme as the chief guest while Treasurer Prof. Dr M Md Kamal Uddin and Dean of the Faculty of Biological Science Prof Dr M Imdadul Hoque were present as special guests. Pro VC Nasreen Ahmed in her speech welcomed the new students and advised them to utilize limited facilities of the university to make them worthy citizens of the country.
She also urged the passing out students of the Department to contribute significantly in the socio-economic development of the nation.
