DSE, CSE indices drop

The indices of Key share prize of Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchange dropped for the 5th consecutive days on Sunday.
The DSE key index, DSEX lost 40.68 points or 0.89 percent to close at 4542.73 on the day. Of the 320 issues traded, 62 gained, 221 declined and 37 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 274.16 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday as against Tk 374.35 crore was exchanged on Thursday.
Bangladesh Industrial Finance Corporation topped the loser’s list at Dhaka bourse while other companies were Navana CNG, Renwick Jajneswar, AIBL 1st Islamic Mutual Fund, Global Insurance, Orion Pharma, Gemini Sea Food, Dacca Dyeing & Manufacturing, Green Delta Mutual Fund and Legacy Footwear.
The top five turnover leaders at the DSE were Square Pharmaceuticals, Beximco Pharma, Delta Life Insurance, Quasem Drycells and BSRM Steels.
Top five gainers at the DSE were First Bangladesh Fixed Income Fund, Exim Bank 1st Mutual Fund, Quasem Drycells, Aramit Cement and HWA Well Textiles.
