The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted mostly dry weather over the country in next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in next 24 hours commencing at 9am today,” said a met bulletin issued here.
It also forecasts light fog at some places across the country during early morning today.
The night temperature may fall slightly and the day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin added. It also predicted that the night temperature may fall further for the next 72 hours from 9am yesterday across the country. The maximum temperature in the country on Sunday was recorded at 31.8 degrees Celsius in Teknaf of Chattogram division and lowest temperature on Monday was recorded 16.0 degrees Celsius in Badalgachhi of Rajshahi division. However, no rain was traced in the last 24 hours till 6am on Monday.
