Mushfiqur Rahman of Sports Life 24.com emerged champion in badminton event of Dhaka Reporters Unity Sports Festival beating Jasim Uddin Rana of the Daily Naya Diganto by 2-0 set in the final on Thursday at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in the city.

Mushfiqur beat Junayed Shishir of News Bangladesh in the first semifinal while Jasim Uddin Rana defeated Sayed Shipon of the Reports 24.com in the second semis, both by 2-0 set held at the same venue.
