Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) has donated Tk 5 lakh to the family of its former member and a staff reporter of private television channel Boishakhi TV Ahmed Faisal who was killed in Nepal plane crash on March 12 last.
DRU President Saiful Islam and its General Secretary Syed Sukkur Ali Shuvo jointly handed over a cheque of Tk 5 lakh to Faisal’s father Md Shamsuddin Sarder on Monday, said a DRU press release. DRU Joint Secretary Md Moinuddin Khan and Finance Secretary Manik Muntasir were, among others, present on the occasion.
